The animated short film, EveryDog Has His Day is finished and online. Using another Eric Satie song for the soundtrack, I again used animal samples exclusively. It took a year to collect all of the hair used in the animated furball sequence. More info on the making of the film here.

Newest additions: Last year, my friend Mary Paley, daughter of the late photographer Bob Paley, asked me to design the sound for an online historical piece centered on his photos. Stories from the Civil Rights Movement in Albany NY and the George Wallace for President Rally are the first two finished sections. Penny Kurtz created a fantastic Flash based presentation that is part interactive and part cinematic. I tried to create a feeling that the listener was walking through the crowds.

I'm adding a new section called Animal Music. For the last 15 years, I've been using animal samples to make songs and soundtracks. The assembled collection can be found here.

A History Channel style ducumentary spoof called The Mystery of Switch Zoo can be seen here. An all-animal rendition of The Dance of the Sugar Plum Furry can be heard here. An all-animal rendition of two works by Erik Satie featuring photos by renowned nature photographer Ansel Adams here.

Also now online, the Michael the Archangel of Albany rock video and a video walkthrough of my 1999 CD-ROM portfolio. Soon, I hope to add excerpts from Downtown Underground News.

Thanks for visiting!
